Love !

Hi crafty friends ! Today I have a new project I made for Polka Dot Orchard design team showcasing the cute penguin from “Penguin Love” stamp set !

So let me show you how I put together this card:

First I cut out a front panel  with a die from my stash and I masked some areas in a shape of X and I blended some red Distress Oxide ink onto a heart model stencil using a blending tool!

Then I print out my cute Penguin digital image and the sentiment onto Neenah Paper and I cut out the penguin using my Scan n Cut!

Then I coloured my penguin using some Copic markers in shades of grey and red for the heart !

The sentiment is from the same digital set Penguin Love and it says : “They say … when penguins find their mate they stay together for the rest of their lives …”. I think that is soo cute sentiment …

Then I cut out 2 holes left and right onto my rectangle sentiment and put a red ribbon  thru the holes !

Then I tied the sentiment behind the front card panel and added it to my card base !

The penguin I added it to my front panel using some 3M foam tape for some dimension!

As embellishment I added just some Glossy Accents onto the heart of the penguin and my card using

Penguin Love digital set from Polka Dot Orchard  is now complete !

Thank you for stopping by and I see you soon with another project!

So let me tell you how I made it:

I started by print out my cute digital flowers using a  toner printer , after I cut them out with my Scan n Cut machine!

Then I color them in some blue shades with some Copic Markers.

I took a white card base that measures 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch, and also some light blue front card and cut it with a rectangle die slightly smaller than my card base. Then in the middle of my card I cut out a circle using a circle die shape. Then I traced the interior of the circle onto my white card base so I know where to create the base of my shaker because I knew I want to make a shaker card!

Then I added some Foam Tape on the card base taking care to leave enough space so you don`t see the foam tape from outside of the card!

Then on my light blue card front on the back I added some clear acetate piece to cover the circle. On the card base when I created the shaker base I added  first my sentiment using some liquid glue ,  that says “You are wonderful” is from the same digital set with the flowers and after I added some tini tiny balls and some heart blue sequins ! I give you a tip is you try make a shaker card and all the time you sequins are sticking on the walls of the shaker,,,,,use before adding the sequins mix some anti static powder tool ,,,that will take off the static and they wont stick anymore! I forgot this time to do it :)) but as I always say do as I say and not I do,,,!

Then I added the front card carefully !

Then I took my 5 beautiful “Butterfly Flowers” and arranged them in a half circle shape around my shaker and glue them with some strong glue . I also took some leaves I had left from other project and added them so it pulls the card together beautifully!

As final touch I added some blue stones to the Butterfly Flowers and my card is now complete!

White Rabbit!

Hi crafty friends and happy Monday! Today I share with you my second DT project for March I made using the “White Rabbit”digital stamp from Heartcraft Paper March Release that is amazing!

This new release inspired me so much that I tried to get out of my comfort zone and I created something different this time! And and it`s not a card! It`s a bookmark!

The background I made it with some watercolors in shades of purple and I used in my water some sparkle powder so it shines when it`s dry!

Then I used a bookmark die set to cut it out .

Then I print out my White rabbit digi image from Heartcraft Paper and cut it with my Scan  n Cut machine.

After I used some Copic markers to color it .

I also print out the coordinating sentiment from the same Digital Set and cut it out in the same width with my bookmark.

For the background I found a clock little enough and I clear stamp it with some Versamark ink and pour some Rose Gold embossing powder and heat set it! I think it adds the perfect interest to my background!

Then I glued the sentiment and the rabbit onto my bookmark panel using some glue tape ., for some more interest I added some narrow stripes that I cut out from Black Glossy Cardstock and I also cut out for the top of my bookmark and glue them down using some strong liquid glue .

For my “White Rabbit” I added some Glossy Accents onto his eyes for some shinny and also a little pair of glasses….same as I wear…!

At the end I added a black ribbon to finish off my bookmark!

My bookmark using “White Rabbit” digital stamp from Heartcraft Paper is now complete!

Thank you for stopping by and remember to join us in the Challenge to win great prizes !

Tomte Gnome

Hi crafty friends , Alina DT here today with a Love theme card for Valentine`s day  using this amazing digital image ” Tomte Gnome” for February month.

So let me tell you how I put it together:

I printed out my digital image  “Tomte Gnome” onto paper using a toner paper and cut it out.

Then I colored my image using some Copic markers in brown, blue and red shades.

For my card panel I blended a light shade of  blue Distress oxide ink using a foam blend tool and let it dry.

After I took a Radiating Rays stencil and  apply some Glimmer sparkly paste that when it dries it is clear and picks up the color underneath.

I die cut a large heart and white heat emboss “Love you” sentiment.

Then I took some red Oxide ink and blend it onto my heart.

Then onto my card base I added my blue pane, then my red heart panel, and at the end I added my Gnome Love digital image using some Foam tape for some dimension.

Because I have the sparkly rays in the background I felt it is enough just to add some Clear glue onto the nose of my gnome and on the hearts !

And my card using “Tomte Gnome” digital stamp from Goha Digital Stamps is now complete!

Please check the Goha shop you will find amazing digital stamps and see you soon!
