Hi my friends and welcome! Today I have some good news to share with you! First of all I am honored to start designing for A Perfect Time to Craft Open Challenge Blog since of month of December ! Thank you Michelle for this opportunity! And because a new challenge on the blog starts I made 2 cards because the amazing digital image inspired me to create ! Please join us in the A Perfect Time To Craft Open Challenge here:
So let me show you how I made my first card using Gnome for Christmas from our SheepSki Designs Digital Images &Art that you can find here :
I printed my digi image onto Copic friendly paper using a toner printer and started to color my image using Copic Markers : E17, E13, YR20 , YG06,B02, B01, G07, E11, R14, B00, R27, W2, W00, B04 and for the background I used E51 .
Then I added some Glossy Accents and some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer for some shine and sparkle and also some Snow Marker that I heat it up with my heat tool so it puffs up at the Gnome`s hair , beard and at the boots and also at the little spots on the mushrooms !
Then I adhere my panel on some pattern paper and after onto a craft card base ! I felt its missing something so I added 3 snowflakes and in the center of them some stones! And my first card is done!
Now let me show you my second card I made and I was a little challenged by friend to use color pencils to color my Gnome digi image!
This is the card :;
I started by printing my digi image and I used for the background : Luminance 161 blue, Polycromos 120, Prismacolor PC904.
Then for green 1 : Polycromos 163, 171
Red: Polycromos 219 , 121
Orange: Polycromos 850, 111
Green 2 : Polycromos 271, 274
Flesh: Prismacolor 949, 927, Polycromos 187, 177
and also I used full blender plus Luminance 01!
I took a square Kraft card base , die cut my digital image with a circle die, and then I took a slightly bigger circle die and cut out from pattern paper so I can use it as a little frame around my image !
After I color my image I added some shine and sparkle some interest with some snow marker .
Then I used some Zig glue penon the globes and let it dry and added some foil and rub it ! Because Snow Globes need to shine!
Then I took my circle digi image adhere it on my card base, then adhere the pattern paper circle and I felt like something is missing. So I white heat emboss 4 trees on the corners of my card and added a green bow! I think this card using Gnome for Christmas was a little challenging to color and I needed more patience to do it but I think it worth the try! I love how it turned out!
I have to thank you for stopping by and also to our sponsor SheepSki Design for this amazing digi image, you should check her out ! Wish you a great day and see you soon !
These are so sweet Alina, adorable xx
